About: Raquel has 17 years of experience working with Families and children experiencing abuse, neglect and trauma. She is a Clinical Psychologist by training and currently works as a Bilingual Victim Advocate and also serves as the Client Programs Director, overseeing direct client services and programs, for The Advocates for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Hailey, Idaho. Raquel has experience leading support groups, teaching financial literacy, providing crisis counseling and recruiting, training and supervising victim advocates. Raquel was born and raised in Lima, Peru and has called Idaho home for the last 18 years. Raquel is honored and grateful to have the opportunity to share simplicity parenting with her community. She looks forward to connecting with other partners in the area and collaborate helping and assisting children and families. Raquel leads simplicity parenting groups, workshops and consultations in Spanish and English. She believes parenting is a journey with wonderful opportunities to learn. She offers calm, and gentle ways to parent children using the simplicity parenting curriculum.
