About: Mary brought up two children in Sydney, Australia. As a typical working mother, constantly in a rush with no time for herself she thought "There has to be to life than this". When she picked up the book 'Simplicity Parenting' she knew she had found the answer and signed up to do the training then and there. That was 2015. Since then her children have grown up and she now spends most of her time helping others to find joy and inspiration in parenting. Since 2020 Mary's courses have been focusing on creating family culture. Like the soil in which our plants grow, a family culture creates the 'soil's which our children grow as they develop their sense of self. Family culture creates a deep sense of security, restfulness and connection , something that can be counted on in an uncertain world. Mary gives regular talks and workshops in schools as well as running online 5 week course. She spends the rest of her time growing vegetables and playing music and her grown up children often come round for dinner.
