About: Kristan Stephens is a wife, mother, and early childhood educator and researcher. She received her M.Ed. in Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University and has over ten years’ experience as an early childhood teacher specializing in children ages birth to seven. She also holds Waldorf ECE, LifeWays, and Simplicity Parenting Coach certification. Kristan is deeply devoted to ongoing study and research surrounding her work with young children with a focus on supporting healthy social and emotional development. Through the years she has worked with hundreds of children and parents helping families navigate the early years of childhood with grace, understanding, love and joy. She is especially drawn to working with nervous and anxious children and offering resources and support for families mired in overwhelm who are looking to cultivate a simpler, more harmonious family life.
