About: I am the mother of three grown children and a seasoned early childhood educator. I love to support parents, especially in the early childhood years. Over decades of experience in formal education settings as well as mentoring relationships with other parents, I seemed to have settled into a specific coaching role. This role is all about lowering stress and anxiety for people who spend much of their time with young children. It’s also about providing clear pathways through the chaos. Providing practical help for parents as they take steps toward the hopes and dreams they have for their family. These days we have access to so much information on how to raise children. One of the unintended consequences of this plethora of information, however, is that it can induce a kind of anxious paralysis that causes parents to second guess their instincts and gifts. The stakes seem so very high; the penalty for failure seems so severe, that it can be difficult to make the choices that are right for the children and for us. I enjoy helping parents sort through the range of ideas and approaches so they can make educational and parenting choices that are right for them. My own parenting journey found its place in the Simplicity Parenting community. I am happy to share from my own experience but my focus is on helping parents find their own way, helping them to discover and strengthen their own ideas and vision. My goal is to help my clients find clarity, energy, and joy in everyday living and become more competent and confident in handling parenting challenges.
